Strive Foundation Rwanda’s ECD program delivers quality stimulation, psycho-social support, literacy and numeracy for young children, facilitating their transition to primary school. This not only enhances the cognitive development of children, but also increases awareness of health and nutrition issues amongst parents whilst establishing a social and emotional support network for young Rwandan children.

Our specific programmatic aims are:

• To expand training and technical support for community based ECD centers.
• To improve the sensitization of ECD within the community.

Since 2010, SFR has been involved with the training, technical and material support for 32 ECD centers in Rwanda. This has provided hundreds of children, of which many would be considered vulnerable, with improved cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
