For our communities to thrive, interventions must not last for a short period of time. The impact in the community should last for a very long period of time.  Long lasting change begins with solutions that are resilient and good for the environment, solutions that can be passed on from generation to generation.  #INGOROIHUJEABABYEYI women Cooperative are happy to stay in a beautiful model village constructed by Strive Foundation Rwanda. With a roof for their families and now solar lamps life can be more happier. This means that money spent on kerosene to fuel lamps that are environmentally harmful to their health will now be channeled to improving their livelihoods and feed their families.
